FALL CAMP--WEEK ONE PRACTICE TIMES

Practice times for week #1 are now available on the calendar.

We will have two practices on Wednesday and Friday with one practice on Thursday and Saturday.

We will practice in helmets only on the first three days (Wed, Thurs, Fri) with the first day of full pads on Saturday.

All players must spend three days practicing with no pads before suiting up for a full-padded practice.

FOOTBALL REGISTRATION

With the start of football fast approaching, it is important to remember that you must first register and be cleared by the EHS athletic office.

This year, football players will have the opportunity to complete normal "Hornet Days" tasks such as buying ASB cards, parking passes, yearbooks, etc.

The times are available on the calendar for the 18th and 19th of August.


YOU MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE THE 20TH IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE!!

SPIRIT PACK PICK-UP

Spirit Packs are sorted, organized, and ready for pick-up--thank you to those ladies who gave up their Friday morning to help us get ready!!

Stop by the EHS commons between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12th to pick yours up.

If you can't make it, don't worry. We will hand out the rest during the first week of practice.

MEETING INFORMATION!!!

The meeting for tonight has been moved to THE GYMNASIUM.

The time and topics remain the same, but the location has been changed due to cleaning being done in the library.

We apologize for any confusion this may cause, but we were only informed of this on short notice from the custodial staff.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you all there.

THE SCHEDULE

The official schedule for the UPS Football Camp is now available on the football calendar. Although not all the days' events are listed, we have noted practice and passing league times.

Of special note is the Wednesday schedule as that is when all parents, friends, and other members of the Hornet Football Family are invited to visit us at camp in the afternoon for any or all of our three scrimmages. These will be 30-minute full-padded/full-contact scrimmages, and it is a great time to witness firsthand what the players have been working so diligently on since we started in the spring.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting on Wednesday @ 7:00 p.m. in the library.

FOOTBALL CAMP (Clarification)

Rather than send out individual responses to multiple e:mails, I am posting a point of clarification: if you did not sign up/pay a deposit for camp, it is too late.

The brochure/information was handed out at the parent meeting back in May and made available throughout the spring camp all the way up to the deadline in June.

We have already sent the list of attendees to UPS, and they have allotted us space based solely on the numbers we were able to give them.

We would like to thank you for your interest in the program and sending your son to camp with us. We look forward to him not only attending camp next summer but starting the season with us on August 20th.

In the meantime, please encourage him to attend workouts M, W, TH/F, of each week as per the calendar.

UPS FOOTBALL CAMP

UPS Football Camp starts on July 20!

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all players attending the camp and their parents.
Where: EHS Library
When: July 16, 2008 @ 7:oo p.m.
What: Rules and Regulations/Procedures/General Information

EDIT (as of July 2): If you have not paid the remainder of your camp balance to the EHS cashier, you will need to bring a check (Payable To: "NORTHWEST WING-T") to the meeting on the 16th. All money earned via the car wash fundraiser has been verified and should be considered when paying final balance.
