SPRING KICK-OFF MEETINGS SCHEDULED

It's that time of year again, and the 2010 Enumclaw Football season is fast approaching. As the players are continuing their work in the weight room, on the diamond, the track, and the mat, the EFF and Enumclaw Football have been planning to kick off the 2010 season this spring with an informational meeting regarding:

*Weight and Speed Training
*Spring Football Schedule
*Spring/Summer Competitions and Events
*Spirit Pack and Equipment
*Summer Football Camp
*Fundraisers
*Fall Practice
*2010 Schedule
*Booster Club (EFF) Opportunities
*Coaching Staff Introductions
*Program Policies and Expectations
*And much, much more!

We are introducing a NEW FORMAT for getting the information to as many players and parents as possible. Therefore, the meeting will be divided into two different meetings.

They will be as follows:

2010 Freshman/Parent Kick-Off Meeting
Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at EMS (directly following the TMMS/EMS game)
The EFF will be providing some food to facilitate the switch from game to meeting.
We are excited to provide this opportunity to all of our incoming players and parents!

2010 Varsity/Parent Kick-Off Meeting
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at EHS Main Gym at 6:00 pm.

All prospective football players and at least one parent are required to attend the meeting that applies to them.

2010 is going to be an incredible season, and we would like to get it started the right way! Please send this posting to all those you know!

See you there!

NEW STADIUM RENDERINGS

This is how incredible a new Football/Soccer facility would look at Pete's Pool.

The original grandstands would become the "visitor" side while the new grandstand (conveniently located at exactly midfield) would be the "home" side of the stadium complete with locker rooms, concessions, restrooms, and meeting rooms.

This is an incredibly honorable endeavor for our community as it would not only allow the facility to be utilized year-round, but it would increase the quality of play and provide a true showcase for the hard work and dedication of our athletes.

Thank you to the YEAS Committee, the Enumclaw School District, and ORB Architects for all your hard work in attempting to make this long-overdue update a reality. The Enumclaw Football Family is excited about the work you are doing and the message it will send to our athletes--that what you do is important, and your hard work, sacrifice, and dedication are valued by your community.

2010/2011 SCHEDULE

It's not completely decided as to times/sites/dates, but we do know that for the next two years we will be competing against some of the best programs in the state of Washington:

Week 1: Yelm (away)
Week 2: Union (away)
Week 3: Timberline (home)
Week 4: Capital (home)
Week 5: Decatur (home)
Week 6: Auburn Mountainview (away)
Week 7: Lakes (home)
Week 8: Bonney Lake (away)
Week 9: Peninsula (home)

This is an incredible opportunity for our players, coaches, and the program to become stronger and even more competitive. We look forward to your support as we take this next big step.

In addition, we are now scheduled to compete in a spring scrimmage at Sunset Stadium on the 16th of June.

Things are starting to take shape, and the opportunity to make 2010 special has already begun in the EHS weight room. All those interested in playing football are encouraged to come work out with us every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 4:00. Coach Stiggins is doing some amazing work!

GO HORNETS!!
